Bolton 1-1 Reading

Hard to say having not seen Reading lately .....have they lost any good players?  anyway 3-1 to us depending on the team selection naturally.

Is Odelusi a winger or a striker? He seemed to drift inside a lot last night, and didn't seem that comfortable on  the wing to me. Good finish for his second though, and he worked hard.

Good old fashioned inside forward? With the fullbacks weve got it works well him cutting inside.

Odelusi sounded like a world beater on the chatbox, we need to play him every single week , lets build the team around him.

I don't think anybody looked a world beater last night to be honest, the service to the wingers and strikers was poor really and too often I thought they were receiving it backs to goal, when they're all quick enough to be running in behind.

Odelusi did well, for some reason nearly every goal kick was directed towards him, he won a few but I didn't think we used his pace well enough, until he made a great break to support N'gog and smashed it in. Nice touch for him to immediately run to Freedman for his celebration I thought. He also megged their full back later on in the game.

I'm looking forwards to the Reading game now, I cant wait.

Lucy has spent most of his career out on the wings but he's definitely better suited to a number 10 type roll. I think his end product has always been a problem but hopefully his game has improved since freedman took over. It certainly looks that way!

So it sounds like we should have had a pen or two, but Wheater should have seen red. We also hit the post but we lived dangerously at he back with Boggers pulling out at least two point blank saves to stop otherwise certain goals. The radio said it was a brilliant game, a "superb advertisement for the Championship".
