I still think Dawson will arrive before the window shuts.

We won't get out of this division until someone steps up and scores some goals.

Ngog has scored the same amount as Jordan Rhodes. We're only two games in, he'll get much more than the 4 you predicted.

So Blackburn are the benchmark?Boggersbelief wrote:Ngog has scored the same amount as Jordan Rhodes. We're only two games in, he'll get much more than the 4 you predicted.

Jordan Rhodes is pretty much the benchmark for strikers in this division.

Ngog has more chance of getting better in front of goal this season than I have at getting a full 90mins for Barcelona, he's fucking hopeless.
We may get more goals if we stopped lumping the ball down his and beckfords throaght everytime one of our defenders picks it up aswell.

Troy Deeney is my tip to top the goal scoring charts in the Championship this season.

Not unless Hull nick him off Watford first. I've heard they are going to pay £2mill for him which seems a bit of steal considering how good he looks.

I think that it will be Danny Ings, especially if own goals keep getting added to his tally.

Danny Ings is too injury prone.

What's his age got to do with anything?

Well you saying that he's injury prone for a start.
He's not a 34 year old Jimmy Bullard you know.

He's struggled with injuries. Doesn't matter how old he is, just look at our 19 year old full back Joe Riley.

You idiot. Read my posts again. It's not just about line-ups, it's about tactics and the way we pass the ball. I'm sure you agree that if we continue down the long ball route it will be a long season?wessy wrote:Hang on!!!! the manager played Spearing and Medo, He played Beckford and Ngog. We need to get the ball on the ground, find wingers who can actually beat a man and cross. We basically need to supply our forwards with some chances.
It's not rocket science.

I thought Hall would have been well worth putting on in the last 30 mins minutes for Lee and leaving 2 up front.

The two bright sparks in mid-week, score 3 goals and only get one minute between them. Wheater has been at fault for both league goals conceded - didn't even get on the bench mid-week (when we won) but automatic choice for Saturday - he's making Knight look good. Can we swap Beckford for Big Kev?, at least Kev wins a few of the long punts. Funny how somebody can accuse Coyle of turning Wigan into a long punt team after only 2 games in charge, but doesn't notice that Freedman is doing it at Bolton after almost a year in charge. Somebody needs to tell Freedman that the game lasts 90 minutes, posession was 50/50 at halftime, but 40/60 by full time.
