I get no sense of pride from watching a slimy politician trying to cash in like that. Ironically, it's one of the least attractive aspects of British politics and media manipulation. Whoever wrote that tosh for him wants shooting.

The speech was in response to some Russian apparently saying we are just a small island which nobody listens to...or something similar

I saw it on the summit thing Friday/ yesterday, the original statement was correct. We are a significant, small island who has no other function than to hang on to the wanks shirt tails.
FFS we don't own our own energy providers, our own steel manufacturers(what little specialist stuff we make), our own car industry, need I go on?
And still we get cnuts like Camoron, Billy Boy and Osborne(Ozzie has more idea) playing and thinking the Charlie Big time!!
