I have just got off the scales this evening and I have lost half a stone in the past month. How good is that? I have cut down on chocolate treats and crisps.
I now am 21 stone, 9lbs.
Who's the man? Women will soon be all over me like a cheap suit. I can't wait.

Good lad!
A little of what you like will do you no harm Mike.
I'm not takin the piss now but try pumpkin and sunflower seeds, you can get them in bags from Aldi and Asda IIRC, looks like bird seed but really tasty. Be careful, loads of protein but loads of calories so a little bit at a time.
I'm goin to have to check my poundage when I get home from my jollies this week and they'll be on my list with sugar snap peas.
Good luck.

Treat your self to 2 big macs and fries, and then a couple of Magnums.

You probably just took a dump MB. Weigh yourself again before you go to bed.

Anyone seriously interested in losing weight should try the 5:2 fasting diet. I lost two stone on it over the last year and it is very easy to follow. You eat normally for five days and on any two days in the week you eat only 600 calories (about a quarter of a full days amount). No other rules at all.

What happens if you eat 3000 Cals a day , in the five days, will you still lose weight ?

I eat them regularly. Pumpkin seeds are especially good for your prostate.

The question is, can you (Michael) maintain it?
If you've spent the last month mentally tortured having to eat less chocolate and crisps, it's only a matter of time before you crack, and when you do, your cravings will be greater than ever and you'll have bigger bones than what you started with.

MB, good for you mate. You'll find that its not so much the dieting, more like getting into the right mind-set. When you find it getting difficult, have one or two things you like, and then carry on. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Oh, and ignore all the advice you get Very Happy
