I don't think the met are good to be honest (yeah we agree), but surely not stupid enough to re open a case that involved the parents being the culprits.

Well glad you feel it's stupid. The only peoples' opinions I care about are the ones that pay cash into my business and I doubt very much you'd be in a position to use my company.

Totally agree! The Mccans will have to live with the guilt of leaving their young children alone that night and that is something, that me and my Mrs would never have considered, especially at such a young age.

Even though me and my Mrs are Mr & Mrs average, we still have some common sense, unlike the two highly qualified Doctors.

Was in the news police in greece got young girl was kidnapped by the tipsy persons so is foolish to give up to look for McCann girl until rove of body can be found.

I wondered from day one how they would have handled it had it been one of their own gone missing, instead of the child of a pair of British holidaymakers more intent on socialising than babysitting?

Well the mother is in the Daily Mail again, I'm beginning to wonder if she is getting paid from these articles now!!!

The Met have launched a major investigation in Portugal in onjunction with the local authorities. They have identified nine seperate indecent assaults/ abductions attempts on young girls in the area. None of these incidents were ever flagged up by the Portuguese police as being relevant at the time.   

They have also compiled a list of potential suspects who they plan to track down and interview. Items recovered from the apartment on the night of the abduction have also been submitted for further forensic analysis. The cost of the operation will run into thousands and thousands of pounds.

If the police thought for one moment that the parents were in any way culpable then it is unlikely that they would have set up this new initiative.
