Is It Fair To Punch The Blind?

Firstly, let me make it clear I am a champion of the disabled and would gladly pay more tax if it went directly to them so they could improve their lives. And if you follow my work or are Stelios you will know I am not to be messed with when someone takes advantage of the disabled.

However, there is a blind woman at my gym who is starting to piss me off and I think she needs a slap to keep her in check.

Ok, she's blind. But does that give her the right to act like a bitch? At busy periods in the gym she doesn't wait her turn for a piece of equipment, she just plays the blind card and jumps the queue. And if you're on a bike or the treadmill she'll come and stand right next to you, right in your face to make you feel awkward. I've had sex with people and not been as close.

And last night at the gym I was getting changed to go home and she was just coming in. She just sat down on my stuff. No apology, just a tut and "don't you realise I'm blind" as though I should have known she was going to walk in.

Now I'm a tolerant person as you know but I think she needs a slap to put her in her place. I know being blind is difficult as I've recently experienced the feeling during a power cut, I tripped over my glockenspiel. But surely blind people should be just as well mannered as the rest of us? Is being blind an excuse to be rude?

No it's not fair to punch a blind person. Try stabbing her in the arse with a pin every few seconds and claiming there's a funny-looking insect in the room. She'll soon learn not to mess with you when she realises you have no scruples and a stealth advantage.
And no, blindness is not an excuse for being rude. In this case I suspect her rudeness is more about her being a twat that being blind.

If you do decide to chin her just make sure that you aren't wearing any jangling jewellery.

She'll know where you are and unleash a combination.

I recently had an experience similar to this this some deaf prick at the casino, the details of which aren't very interesting.

Unfortunately there are some disabled people who use their life situation as an excuse to be a knob head. It's like they think there's some sort of able-bodied guilt which is going to prevent you from being offended by or commenting upon their rudeness.

Just to make a point, and to ensure there were no communication issues, I gave the deaf arsehole at the casino the middle finger.

We had a blind chap at work, who kept mistreating his dog, by incessantly jerking the chain unnecessarily hard, and was told about it a few times. A few months ago, the poor animal died of a heart attack. When I asked why he hadn't been given a replacement, I was told that he wasn't allowed another because it was thought he was instrumental in the dog's demise. I always thing you should say something, as they may be disabled, but they know the difference between right and wrong.

it's a good point actually, there is a really rude deaf man on my bus and i let him get away with it time after time simply because he's deaf.

I would happily punch any blind Bolton fans.
