It isn't easy as you get older, piling on the pounds. I've just been having a gander on youtube, watching one of my favourite songs of the 80's, Alphaville (big in Japan) They were really skinny, back in 84 and now they are a bit fat.

I think I am going to eat just fresh fruit and vegetables in future.

I always find it is easier as you get older, piling on the pounds.

Try the 5:2 diet. It works for me. I've been on it for about a year and have lost weight without it being too much of a struggle. Eat normally 5 days a week and on any 2 days eat only 600 calories. You do feel very hungry the first few times but you get used to it and there are no bad side effects.

If I live longer that's a bonus. The diet is also supposed to reduce your likelihood of getting diabetes and maybe Alzheimers. Apart from being a bit hungry twice a week there is no downside.
