I'm bored senseless listening to this "character." His whole career is based on some soundbites.

Holloway's right. Dougie constantly sets out to nick one nil wins and goalless draws. If it works then fine, but it doesn't and he won't even try something different that might at least give the fans something to be excited about.
He's fixated on making this one style of play work and he's putting that before anything that might actually get us points on the board and give the paying fans something to cheer about.

It's a bit rich considering up until his move to blackpool he used to do the fucking same thing.

I would think he will be gone by next week, he has lost the dressing room and the players and the fans. If he does not walk, he will be pushed... or life does not make any sense!

To be fair life in the outside world never really make much sense anyway - so that would make some sense, then!

I think everyone needs to get used to one idea. Dougie will NOT be sacked this season, he will be our manager in August.
As long as Eddie owns the club and Gartside is chairman nothing is going to change now. If it was it would have happened weeks ago. Ergo sum they must be satisfied if not happy with what is going on and are content to leave things as they are.
We can all pray for a change from now till doomsday but it will NOT happen. I'm sorry to be so blunt but this "performance" was just one in a whole string of them that have gone on all season long. If Phil really felt it needed to be changed it would have been done before the January window. He clearly has no intention of spending any money (ie we don't have any) and sees Dougie as the perfect fall guy to take the blame while the most mismanaged finances in the four divisions are being wrestled under some sort of control. Since DF is clearly useless tactically and motivationally he makes a perfect front for the board, they can hide behind his failure while continuing to draw their six figure salaries for bringing our club to the brink of extinction.

As bad as it is right now, looking at the bigger picture I would like freedman to stay. He will get the chance to start a fresh in the summer and get rid of gutless pricks like eagles and knight. He is shrewd in the transfer market and I'm confident he will assemble a decent team, I fully expect us to be up there next season.

On the basis of results alone- of course he should. But given the state that the club is in, both financially and in terms of future prospects, we all ,in reality, know that he's going nowhere. There is this miasma- this hopeful expectation that all the high earners will leave ( some of the low earners as well) big wages saved and they will all be replaced with low earning players with real talent - and then we will be on the way back to the promised land.
I doubt it - finances are so tight that we'll get the likes of Danns ,Mason, Hall to play for us.
I dislike being a pessimist- but I doubt whether Dougie has the skill or potential to deliver anything particularly better than he's delivering at the moment.
The long term prospects are continued mediocrity.

Boggersbelief it absolutely beggars belief that you can actually think that let alone go into print and write such obviously ridiculous comments. He's a clueless, arrogant and divisive individual as he has proved eminently since he's been here. The last thing we need is giving Freedman the chance to get us promoted next year after relegating us this year, because believe me he will if we don't bin him soon.

Emergency board meeting.
Freedman failed to show.
APB out for him apparently.
