Superbowl XLVIII

As mentioned on the Second Sport thread, I'm a massive NFL fan and tonight I'll be watching the Superbowl between the Broncos and the Seahawks.

I've got the beers on ice and I've stocked up on nuts and nachos.

Anybody else stopping up to watch it?

Yes I'll be watching. 

Though I'd rather Denver won, I think it'll be the Seahawks by 3.

Will this 60 minute game go on for six hours again?

No not six, about three and a half on average.

Value for money in my book.

Now we just need someone to say "rugby with pads" and post a picture of big offensive lineman and we've got all the british superbowl night cliche's out of the way.

Three and a half?.......that's just the half time entertainment.

By the way, I agree it'll be a close game tonight, but I'm going for the Bronco's by the odd TD because Manning's had a storming season and he's been there before and done it.

i used to be a massive fan of American football as a kid, i even used to buy the magazine Gridiron UK every month. This was when it was shown on channel 4 (i think?) but it seemed to disappear for many years.

I used to be a Steelers fan, that was in the days they were crap though!
