NFL's back.

My team of 30+ years is the Washington Redskins.

They lost last week in Round One, as per usual but that's ok, us Redskins fans don't expect success - for the Washington Redskins read Bolton Wanderers Football Club in general sporting terms.

But there is a difference: The Redskins are worth about $2.4 Billion.

The Wanderers can't afford to pay the Milkman and Gartside hides on the floor whenever somebody he doesn't recognise knocks on the front door at the Macron.

(Unless they're waving a wad of cash and are shouting "Yeah, we'll invest!")

Anyroad........

I know that there are a few NFL fans who regularly contribute to Nuts, so give us your thoughts.

Will The Patriots steal it again?

Is Brady a cheat?

Will Russell Wilson fire The Seahawks on to success after their disappointment last year?

Is Manning past it?

Is RG3 a waste of money? (Yes.)

Will the dirty, horrible Raiders finally come good?

Buffalo started well - can they keep it up and keep Kevin Cadle and Bonce happy?

Let's hope it's a season to remember.

i used to follow NFL years ago when i was still at school, i even used to buy a magazine called Gridiron UK every month but i've not really followed it much since to be honest. My team used to be the Steelers (when they were crap and before all the recent success) and the San Diego Chargers (do they still exist?)

I'm hoping the Bills will do the business this season.
However, this sort of thing puts the NFL to shame.

It's just to irritate a couple of friends who tried to ram the Giants or Jets down my throat for years. Despite being in NY for almost 20 years, I could do it - it just felt like picking United or Chelsea. Eventually, I went for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2009ish when they were utter shite.

Mrs B bought me one of these "beauties" a couple of years back for Christmas when I said I wanted a woolly hat for walking the dog in winter:

Wouldn't flush it.
But I've never worn it.
Not on my head anyway.
