Bread - did you get on the Redskins back in the early 80s when they promoted the hell out of the NFL in the UK. Redskins v Raiders (LA) Superbowl was their big push I think. A day to forget for Redskins fans.
Superbowl Fiddy.

It was in about '84 or '85 I think when Channel 4 first started showing NFL with Miles Aiken and Nicky Horn presenting.
I remember seeing Riggins destroying some team's defensive line and thought "That's it! I want to be like him!" so I instantly became a Skins fan.
Everybody else was getting into The Bears because of Walter Payton and The Fridge but I just wanted to be Riggins.

Yep. I vaguely remember. I was lucky enough to go to Superbowl XXXVII in San Diego to see The Raiders lose.

Nice one!
Back when the Buccs weren't terrible.
This is going to sound like one of those annoying Chinese Utd fans now, but seeing the Redskins play live is on my bucket list.
I keep trying to convince Mrs B that DC is a genuine holiday destination but she's not having it.
Should've picked The Dolphins I suppose.....

Result!
I'd love a space of my own like that.
The bookshelves in the spare bedroom are all rammed and Mrs B keeps saying "When are you going to thin these out and take some to the charity shop?"
I had to slap her in the end.

It's a complete tip. I could post stuff that would shock Kim and Aggie.

Cave is right. My only refuge from the horror of the real world. I revert to a 12 year old once I'm in here.
Some may have noticed.
