Well I have a good feeling for this one, if we turn up, and IF Freedman goes all out attack for the WHOLE 90 minutes, we will quite comfortably beat these 3-1, if he reverts to form and goes defensive, inviting them on we will get battered, how do you see it playing out?
Bolton 0-1 Burnley.

There will be no battering by either side even if there's a winner.
It'll be an odd goal that wins it but get your money on the draw.
You'll just have to hope that your lads are up for an evening of graft because that's the minimum requirement from our lads.

I want to see these players in for the next game...
White,
Danns, Moritz, Trotter, Eagles, Lee,
Juke
No Pratley, no Medo, no Spearing, no Baptiste, no Hall. At least not at the start. And if any of them do come in then it's Medo.
Ideally we also need to bring in Feeny and Dawson asap or in the summer.

I'm with Copper on this one, although I feel it will be a 2-0 win to Burnley and I cannot see light at the end of the tunnel!

Dawson's a dead issue. WBA aren't looking to send him out at all now as they have injuries of their own and Rosler has made it clear he rates Dawson for the long term and wouldn't be willing to sell him in the summer because he sees the lad as an integral member of the first team there next season.Biggie wrote:I want to see these players in for the next game...

Feeney is another dead issue. We can't afford to buy him as we've already proven once and if we think that's going to change in the summer we're dreaming.
They both did well for us while they were here but it's time to move on and find others because neither of them are coming back either on loan or as buys.

If freedman's gone we will get a draw or win if he's still here 3-1 to Burnley.

We'll snatch a draw from the jaws of victory!!
Not be going if it's pissing it down, not worth the effort.

Yep, I can hear that and second it. That's how bad things are now, I'll go to the game IF it's convenient and the weather's not too bad. Sad I feel that way about such a huge match but that's the point PG and DF have brought me to.Soul Kitchen wrote:We'll snatch a draw from the jaws of victory!!

I hope we lose 6-0. I hope Burnley go 4 up by half-time and the crowd spend the second half abusing Dougie and his cronies.
I'll take one more defeat to get a new manager.

Burnely are a far better team than Bournmouth so why we would't we get hammered. 1-3 if not worse.

Nat I can understand your point and sympathise with you because I felt the same close to the end of the Megson era. However in the current circumstances I can't agree with you. When Megson went we were only halfway through the season. This time were two thirds of the way through and all the teams in the drop zone have a game in hand over us to boot. A loss on Tuesday could well see us just two points clear of the bottom three and they'd still have at least one and possibly TWO games in hand.Natasha Whittam wrote:I hope we lose 6-0. It's too late in the season and too close to dropping through the trap door into the third tier for me to really hope for a defeat. I would settle for a draw being enough to see him get the chop. Don't forget Megson's last game was a draw against Hull, it left us on 18 points from eighteen games. A draw on Tuesday would put us on 30 from 30 and we'd still be at least three points clear with a third of the season to go. But what really worries me now is that even if DF does get sacked it'll still be Gartside who picks the replacement and given his dreadful record of picking lemons who's to say we'd get anyone better? If anything the manager's have got steadily worse in his tenure in my opinion. Letting him pick a fifth failure would be catastrophic.
I want Eddie to step in this time, to shove PG out of the door, send DF and his staff after him then appoint a new chair with the brief of finding the right manager even if it takes till the summer to do that. Put JP in temporary charge with one goal, steady the ship and prevent further decline while that search goes on. I've posted a thread called "What should happen now" where I explain in a bit more detail what I believe to be the best way forward.

You just leave the football talk to the grown ups.
Besides which, there's only one lot that have gone backwards.
