Well another game coming up on Tuesday ( the way Freedman likes it) who thinks he will tinker yet again? Blackpool have been on a terrible run so should be scared to come to the Reebok, but knowing Freedmans tactics, we will probably make Blackpool look like Barcelona....... 1-1.

Blackpool have won their last two games, they're on the same points as us, I'm going 1-1.

Must win game this, I'd stick with the same side who played Yeovil except for Wheater in for Baptiste and shift Ream to LB.
Rob Earnshaw has recently signed for ten apparently, surprised Nat isn't seething we didn't snap him up.

As if Dougie would snap up a striker who guarantees goals, that would be too old fashioned for the clown.
Expect Earnshaw to score at least twice in a Bolton defeat.

Going for a loos with this game, can't see us getting anything from this.
0-2 to Blackpool.
0-2 to Blackpool.

Lonergan
Baptiste Knight Mills Ream
Moritz Kamara Danns Eagles
Beckford Ngog
was the team that produced a top performance against Blackpool in the FA cup (despite Dougie not having the players to play 4-4-2).
A lot of things have changed since then. Wheater and MDavies are back. Ngog's gone. Eagles seems to have been ousted. Lonergan has lost his place to Bogdan. Kamara and Spearing have improved as a partnership. Juke and Mason are at the top of the strikers pecking order.
But there's no reason we can't beat this lot playing good attacking football.

Lets face it, we've no quality in that team what-so-ever, none more so than any other team in this division , really.
That's why we are near the bottom, in my opinion we need to be more physical, bully teams, get in the teams face and break them.
Freedman is a thinker, that has thought the wrong game plan too many times, and lost us points.
Look at the bigger picture, and D.W was right what he said, the senior management have fucked this club up, not Freedman, it is broken beyond repair.
I honestly don't see how we can ever come back to the PL, unless some big money beast comes in who's got more money than sense.
RIP Bolton.

But if he gives Pratley a new 10 year contract, you might reconsider.Tigermin wrote: but seriously contemplating not renewing my season ticket if the little jock shite is still in charge next season !!

I'd play that squad as is with just Juke in for Ngog and Hutton in for Baptiste. Mason was a bit anonymous against Yeovil imo and of course Baptiste had a 'mare which is why I'd rest them both and see if Beckford can make use of the opportunity to start.doffcocker wrote:Lonergan

I'm full of confidence for some reason.
I'm off work till Thursday after today, so I reckon il start drinking around 1400 for this game and should be well oiled by KO.
I fear this could go either way, I know he had a nightmare last game and is now banned, but I think we are going to miss Baptiste.

That's a fair bit of tinkering when you look back at the team then and in theory the team has improved although at the beginning of the season I wouldn't have thought that the best way to do it would be to sell Ngog and drop Eagles.doffcocker wrote:Lonergan

My worry is that the biggest moments in recent games have been when we've had possession in midfield (usually Spearing) Will he play the killer pass that creates a chance or just keep us moving forward or will he give it away and force the whole team to retreat and spend the next few minutes on the back foot trying to get the ball back only to start again? Far too much of the latter recently. If Spearing gets his act together the whole team will improve - it's a key role.
