Great stuff. I've been on ebay many times just praying for someone to outbid me and save me all the hassle. But there are certain things I have to go for and very often it becomes a bit of a macho showdown. Hope you play that baby every now and again.

'Kin right I do, mate!
As part of "the acceptance deal", I had to learn We Wish You A Merry Christmas and sign an informal, unwritten contract that I'd play it at her Mum's every Christmas since.
Her Nan loves it but the nephews and neices think I'm a stupid old dick who they could well do without on Christmas day, plonking away on his guitar.......
I'm not arsed - I've got me Strat!
I know what you mean about the macho thing, though.
There's nowt like that feeling you get when that clock is ticking down to under a minute and you know it's just you and some twat in Essex but you're gonna beat him, so you wait until about 10 seconds to go and you click "Increase Bid" but you're not sure if it'll be enough.........and then you get that green banner at the top which tells you you've won.......
Yeah, I got them Bolivian cooking pots and you didn't, bitch!!!!
Now then.....where shall I put them?
That's what happened with the boat......
One day I'll sail her, honest........

And I do play the guitar regularly. (Not just Christmas tunes.)
The saddest thing is, you can't put it through the amp above 2 because the windows shake and even I think "Fuck me, that's loud!"
I need to buy Glos' house.....

Funny that, I've not eaten since lunch either.
(Is it the weather?)
Anyroad, few more beers then probably cheese & ham toasties for me.
With crisps.
And then biscuits dunked in my coffee.
I'm like a Tasmanian Devil in the kitchen when I've had a few.....

Do you find it's more comforting as well?boltonbonce wrote:I always enjoy my grub a lot more late at night.
I'm not one to have my dinner on the table at 6pm that's for sure.

I certainly find it more comforting. Never been a man for set meal times, and 6pm is way too early for me. Tea is usually between 8 and 10 for me.
