Yes we do need to support another team. We need a term who can take us on an exciting ride like it was supporting Bolton in the 90s. Any ideas who we could support? We could take over their forum.

I agree, we don't want to just pitch up at a club about to hit the Premier League, because it'll just be another season of trying to finish 17th.

So let's choose someone in League 2 who we feel has the potential to "do a Bolton" over the next 10 years. I'll get back to you in 5 mins.
Are you thinking of Torquay on the English riviera? We may have a play off campaign coming up which will be exciting.

Torquay is a good one, but a long way from Preston & Durham. Ditto Cheltenham.

Depends if we want to choose someone like Torquay who have a chance of glory in the next few weeks, or we go with someone like Bradford who are currently shite but have the potential to be massive.

Bradford? Can you really see yourself cheering on Bradford? Its a right shit hole. Hmmm. What about Fleetwood?

If we're armchair fans it doesn't matter what the place is like. You've never been to Bolton but you supported them until 8pm tonight.

I have been to Bolton a few times. Not been for a good few years now though. Yes, I think we should be Torquay United fans.
Do you know much about their team? I know they have the prolific Lee Mansell from midfield. He looks a player I'd pay money to see play alone.

Ok, Torquay it is.

Funnily enough I've always regretted swapping my Norpig for a Torquay scarf at the end of the Sherpa Van Trophy Final - at last I'll get some use out of it.

It was fate you'd one day support Torquay. We have Crewe at home next, looks a really tough game as Crewe are unbeaten in 14 games. But we need to win to have any chance of automatic promotion. Its going to be nailbiting for us. But we are good at home, we win 1-0 a lot at home. Come on Torquay.

I can't believe how tense I feel, but a good tense.

I hope the manager goes with 4-4-2 and plays to our obvious strengths.

Yes this is what its all about. Yes 4-4-2 definitely, suits our players best I agree. We have Rene Howe up front - I saw him on Dating in the Dark not long ago. He seemed a right wazzock but all will be forgiven if he can fire us up.

I've just ordered a Torquay shirt online.

Cool, you should send me a picture of you wearing it when you get it. I am going to join a Torquay forum, I'll send you a link when I find one.
