Perhaps that's the problem?
Are we not in the Championship?

I'm going for a lie down.

Lennon would kick the shit out the players, literally probably he's an idiot.

also hard to judge a managers ability on being at Celtic. I'm sure he'd consider the championship (within reason) but not Bolton.

If past form is anything to go by. Pick the least talented, cheapest, 'young, aspiring manager', and the one you know is a complete wanker, and who everyone either hates, or hasn't heard of, and that's your man.
Personally, I would seriously consider following the team from afar,  if Lennon was appointed, (yes, I know, Cheltenham is afar Rolling Eyes ). I also have some doubts about jimmy Phillips. I like him, and what he's done, but lets be honest, if he was that good, why hasn't he looked for a managerial post himself? Nothing against JP, but we want someone completely new to the club, for new ideas, and not one who's been toeing the line, in the background.

I think were still early enough in the season to bring a manager straight in, rather than have a caretaker manager until either the winter or new season. Jimmy Philips, if brought in, should be given more than a caretaker role.

I wouldn't have Brown in a million years.

people would laugh at him as a suggestion if he hadn't played here.

Chris Hughton I quite like, think he would do a job.

Hughton did well at Birmingham with limited resources but he shot his bolt at Norwich. I'd prefer someone with a bit of presence about him like a Roy Keane or a Di Canio type of character. Keane still has his house in Hale Barns and he would love to prove his detractors wrong but whether it would work is entirely another matter.
