Sorting through some boxes in the loft I came across my old Pokkit Socca game,I'm sure most of you had one(pictured).
It was 5 bob well spent, affording us many happy hours of fun.
With the advent of computer generated games, old favourites like this seem to have died a death.
Any of you lot still play old fashioned board games?
Ludo?
Monopoly?
Scrabble?
Chess/Draughts/Checkers?
Cluedo?

I had a howzat game which consisted of two hexagon bars with printing on and you rolled these. One bar had runs on and the other had ways of being out. Needless to say it was a cricket game.

I also had "Owzat!" and passed many a wet afternoon in our caravan in various soggy fields throughout the North West playing it.

Anybody else have "Mastermind"?

I'm sure we still have the original mastermind with the Chinese woman i think it was on the box?

We still play monopoly and scrabble every now and again.

i used to have the test match game, with the ball bearing you had to roll down the bowlers arm, used to love that game!
Also my favourite football game was called super striker (i think ?) and you had to press the heads of the players down to pass or shoot.
Had the Mastermind game as well and also played Battleships and Othello, any remember that one?

Here's a clip showing just exactly how much "fun" Super Flight Deck actually was:

(Warning - If you tend to get over excited by things, you'd better sit down for this because it's sooooo amazingly brilliant.)

Super Flight Deck = FUCKING AWESOME!!!

I've never heard of Pokkit Socca, though. We used to play Pokkit Billiards quite a lot when I was a kid, maybe it was similar.

What I always wanted was one of these bad boys but never actually got one. Sad

There's nothing gay about owning a Girl's World.

I had hours of fun with that thing.

Especially after I'd cut a hole where the mouth is.........

Still have battleships somewhere in the loft along with guess who?, could never win at Othello.

I had kier plunk, hungry hippos and frustration but not sure what happened to them.
