Is it possible to look cool,or even smart,in a Christmas jumper?
Every year I get at least one,in which I'm supposed to ponce about house looking festive.
The look is usually finished off with a new pair of slippers, and a silly paper hat.
I feel the need to fight back. It's now or never.

These unholy abominations are on the rise, aren't they?

We were in Tesco last night and they've got racks and racks full of the bastards.

I've told Mrs B that if she gets me on "for a laugh", I'll get my own back by packing it in the case when we go on holiday in June and she'll be the one who has to sit there with her husband looking all special needs in the bar.

Ha!

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

A definite no no if you are older than 14. There's no way around it. You will inevitably look like a tit.

If we were at home on Boxing day,the camera used to pan the stands at half time, trying to spot these horrors, and embarrass the wearers.
I remember some poor sod getting spotted, and the tannoy booming out,'Hope you've got the receipt for that'. Very Happy

Isn't looking like a tit the whole point though?

I mean on xmas day in the pub, everybody wears Christmas jumpers, its a kind of modern tradition.

I wish I would have noticed the tesco value one a couple of weeks ago, that would have gone down a storm at my pre-Christmas dinner pint or 3...

I'd rather not look like a tit.
I get enough abuse when I wear a wanderers shirt, without adding to the problem. Warrington is not the friendliest place for a Trotter.

Try living in Chorley. Big bolton contingent but also full of PNE, Blackburn, Burnley and the usual glory hunter contingent. its pretty diverse football wise...

Everybody wears Christmas jumpers down the pub? If I walked into a pub in little hulton wearing one of those monstrosities I would do well to make it out alive!
