Watched a program last night about lemme ,and Dave Grohl was recording with him ,what a shit drummer Grohl is fucking awful.Sounded like a five year old banging a biscuit tin .

I'm not a massive fan of the Beatles but they were a phenomenon in the Sixties and changed popular music in this country. The Beatles and especially McCartney get plenty of mentions when latter day musicians are asked who were their inspirations and influences.

So maybe they aren't your thing but people show some respect.

Yes I hate The Beetles too. Sends a shiver down my spine whenever I hear any of there stuff.

I quite liked John Lennon and George Harrison.

The other two seem like wankers though.

I was around when the Beatles first came out thought they were great back then.

Don't know if i'll say "overrated" but "indie" music is something that i've never understood the popularity of.

Oasis, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays and all that stuff is unbearable to me, just terrible.

I liked The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays. They made some superb tunes. They're not very good live though.

Them two just came to mind.

I honestly can't think of a single "indie" band i can put up with.
