Dougie only plays him when we're geared up to pass our way forward. When we need to go direct he gets subbed. In that respect, Mavies is given every chance IMO.bwfc1874 wrote:I disagree and think Mavies actually uses the ball quite well when he has options and willing runners, if you watch he rarely gives away possession when others make themselves available.
