Despite Bolton’s 2-2 home draw with Wolves, Neil Lennon says there are plenty of positives to take his side’s performance.
Zach Clough’s brace saw Bolton come from a goal down to leave at the interval at Macron Stadium.
But in stoppage time at the end of the game Wolves sub James Henry crashed home a 35-yard drive to steal a point for the visitors.
“There are positives in our performance, but on the whole it’s very disappointing because we feel like we had the game won,” the manager said. “Henry has no other option but to shoot late on and we should deal with it a lot better.
“There’s no doubting that we should see the game out. I don’t think Andy had a save to make at all in the second half.
“We gave away a very poor goal to start with, but our reaction to that was fantastic. Some of the football we played in the first half was breath-taking.
“We’ve suffered another injury blow losing Darren Pratley in the second half. We’re very short in terms of our squad at the moment. At times we’re putting square pegs in round holes.
“Saying that, we felt we had more than enough about us to see the game out. In the second half we looked comfortable and when we have the ball in the corner late on we should be winning the game.
“Wolves didn’t do anything to really affect the game. They had a bit of pressure here and there, but it was nothing too concerning from our point.
“In Le Fondre we had a real threat upfront. He was outstanding from start to finish and there’s no doubting that he’ll score goals for us.
“In Zach Clough we think we’ve found a very good player. He played very well to say he’s not really kicked a ball for three weeks.
“We were tiring a little bit in the second half and we have a lot of games coming up. We have to get some bodies in to try and bolster our squad.
“At this moment the medical room is looking a little bit busier than our dressing room.”
