Christ, it wouldn't surprise me if it is Madine going off what Nixon said.

He's a massive cunt.

Football is a business, there's too much money in it now for it not to be. You can't blame Bogdan for seeing if a better option comes in for him than a 2nd division cash strapped club like us.

- Worth pointing out I made the whole thing up, just my prediction of what's happening behind the scenes. Don't send any hatemail to Bogdan just yet.
All that is true bwfc1874 in regards Adam Bogdan

However, club just as entitled to say of you go son, we will find someone else.

Not sure whether we ain't calling his bluff any way. Wages being cut from a reported £1.7m a year down to £900k if MartinBWFC link is correct.

Not sure why his wages were so high in the first instance. He had one season in the Premiership. Seems a club that prided itself on contingencies if the club got relegated decided it didn't need to bother after 10 years.

I think club should be putting a final date on these deals and withdrawing them. There are better and cheaper keepers than Bogdan around in my opinion.

According to the link MartinBWFC gave us Amos was a lot less and is alot better keeper. So for me on your bike Bogdan

Ye the club are entitled to do what they want with him. But the fact he hasn't signed yet but wasn't on the released list makes it pretty obvious negotiations are ongoing, and I think we need to accept that's just part of the modern game. He's our best keeper so personally I hope he signs on - albeit at a reduced rate.

Sounding like the striker is Chris Maguire from Wednesday, I remember he looked good against us last season and Wednesday fans seem in denial at the moment so sounds like a good move.

i honestly can't imagine any footballer these days accepting a reduced wage unless he's at the tail end of his career or back from a bad injury. I think he will be gone and then we have no senior keepers. Get Amos signed quick!

I agree. Personally I think the club need to play hard ball. There's your offer take it or leave it. He might be the best of a bad bunch that we have, but, to me that ain't no recommendation. As I say better and cheaper keepers out there

he looked a handful when we played Wednesday but as said already he has had issues in the past with his temper.

Madine will be a very cheap replacement for Craig Davies, and at 24 he still has time to fulfill his potential. Doubt NL has him in mind to be our main man though

I'd be more concerned that his goal record is not that great from what I read.

Cravies's record at Championship level - 29 in 113, Madine's - 29 in 116, I doubt he's being signed as a goalscorer but as Boggers said a direct replacement for Cravies. Right age and price, but shame about his past.

He's served his time so he deserves a second chance in my eyes, he must know one more incident will end his career. He looked quite useful when we played Blackpool recently and held it up well.

Second chance? This will be about his 5th.

Strikers with incredible goal records cost money.

I'd suggest thats a sticking point.

Gary Madine eh? He comes with quite the reputation this lad. Maybe we could have Ched Evans and Nile Ranger playing off him? I really hate knob end footballers - especially of the lower leagues variety.

I'd much prefer we signed someone with half a brain.

Do you trust the manager or don't you?

That's what it comes down to. Are you starting a petition which ultimately may get rid of the player and probably Neil Lennon or are you going to accept that we've put Neil Lennon in charge and he feels he can handle the lad.

Madines last incident was 2013. We hope he's learned his lessons. I'm sure that if he does something like that again, he knows that his career is over.

For now I'm prepared to trust Lennon and give the player a second chance. This player is obviously bought to hold the ball up. To come on for Heskey, who can't do it for 90mins, week in week out.

He isn't the goalscorer that Lennon wants, but, I think we may need to wait for that.
