Clough to West Ham is the latest rumour. Theyre looking for a replacement for Enner Valencia

I don't see Clough leaving for under £6 million - and that's cheap.

Frazier Campbell would be a great signing but I can't imagine we could afford his wages. Still, it would be great if it happened.
Gouano - says what it does on the tin - but entirely consistent with Neil monitoring former international youth players that didn't quite make it. Believable I guess.

Our midfield is shit. Guthrie is just another average champ player.

Bolton sign Prince-Desir Gouano and reject QPR Tim Ream bid
Bolton have signed centre-back Prince-Desir Gouano on loan from Italian side Atalanta, and have turned down a bid from QPR for defender Tim Ream.
Former France youth international Gouano, 21, started his career at Le Harve and moved to Juventus in 2011 but he failed to make an appearance.
After joining Atalanta last year he was loaned to Portuguese side Rio Ave.
Ream, 27, has been playing for the USA in the Gold Cup this summer and is contracted to Bolton [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
"There is interest from QPR but it is way short of the valuation of the player and we don't want to sell him anyway," Bolton boss Neil Lennon told [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
"He's been consistent, he's been player of the year here the last two years so he's not for sale."

He's another fooking skinny dude, just like Derek. Does Lennon really think these two ponces can stand up to English centre forwards?
Laughable signing.

How many skinny central defenders are there in the Championship?

Watched him play on telly in the Dutch League and he's tough enough from the little I've seen of him. Doesn't seem to like tricky little forwards and quick movement though. Still both he and Derik are young so I imagine they'll be introduced gradually apart from when we have injuries like now.
Neil did look at the finished article (Kuipers) but money was probably the problem so if he had to tailor his cloth to suit the budget, two decent prospects seems a reasonable way forward.
And I don't think we could have realistically expected more in the transfer window apart from a couple of loans which might yet arrive.
