Sarcastic, unsympathetic, cynical, grumpy, patronising and occasionally withering - yeah, fair enough but not smarmy.
I was responding to Boggers' comment.
You can tell you got the looks and your cousin got the brains.
You're just like your Dad.

It's called "playing the long game."
Someone once took great delight in telling me "You don't appreciate how much you enjoy something until it's taken away from you" just before they turned the lights out on me.
Well.......it appears they were right.

So Igor and Kermogant not available and it's back to square one.
Clayton will have to retain his place for now and Heskey is back but at least Neil recognises that he needs to do something else and is still looking.

How long have you blokes been watching BWFC transfer activities? I never believe a word in the BEN or any rumors until I see the player with a Bolton shirt on. For years transfers fall through at the last minute, the guy is not interested, or some other twaddle. Currently nobody of use wants to come to us...we can't pay anything and we a struggling side on top of the fact it's bloody Bolton. So Lennon is doing his best but what can he do in reality.

Shola Amoebi then - another 33 year old.
Still beggars can't be choosers.
Just hope he's got a bit of his pace left.

Presumably that's why Huddersfield etc knocked him back? Personally I don't think Neil will take him unless the other targets are really poor.
