On another note, Iles article this morning resolved the question about Birch's criteria thing and included the following:


"Talks have accelerated in the last 24 hours to the point financial assurances have been given to the club by at least two interested parties.

Neil Lennon confirmed yesterday four different groups were involved in discussions, although each are being asked by owner Eddie Davies to provide rigorous proof they will be able to fund the club in the longer term.

So two of the four have provided financial evidence and it looks like - as Boggers has said all along - that a deal is imminent.



Question is, what's the deal?

Sorry Wander, I thought I posted that article this morning but dealing with Amazon has made my brain all fuzzy.

Hope a deal gets done soon. However,the devil,as they say,is in the detail. I'm not going to get too excited until the dust settles.
Can't believe Charlton Heston is involved though.

Apparently he's come up with a new Commandment especially for PG.

Just having the club sold wont suddenly make it become a profitable business over night.

I'm not convinced anybody in for the club right now is in it for the best altruistic reasons.

How are they NOT going to lose money on it?
