Never do that again.
I've bookmarked the page to check it out at a later date.

Also being able to govern ourselves and not being over ruled by that Nazi bitch Merkel.
We would also probably save a hell of a lot of money not being in Europe and being able to spend it on more valuable sources.
We simply have our own control over what we do with outer money.
I have never wanted to be in Europe to this extent but trade agreements are fair enough and every country needs them.
I've simply never been a fan along with that bloody channel tunnel as well!

We're in it now RT so we pretty much know what the benefits are - it's just that we take them for granted. For me, we don't need reasons to change because the reality is it ain't so bad being in Europe and we benefit from the all deals we've negotiated over the last 40 years.@Reebok Trotter wrote:Just watching the EU debate on Channel 4 and I have to say I am still on the fence at the moment. Nevertheless..there seems to be an awful lot of TV time devoted to the benefits of staying in the EU. Almost to the point where I am starting to find the whole business rather suspicious. It's like there is something we are not being told. Are the pro Europe campaigners part of a Big Brother type private members club for those in the know?
The more we keep hearing of the benefits in remaining the more I am tempted to voted out.

They're seemingly incapable of running an honest campaign, fear is what they rely on.

Still not had an answer to this but Truss has proven the bit about deal negotiations is correct. And it’s taken 4 years to get one of the 40 trade deals we had in place so does that mean it will be 160 years to get back to where we were in 2016?@wanderlust wrote:Ignoring all the claims and counterclaims from two very negative campaigns, I still can't see any advantages of leaving. I mean what would we gain?
All I hear is that if we leave, we'll be able to renegotiate the deals we have now and maybe in a few years time we'll get what we currently have.
We've systematically dismantled our own industries so we'll always be dependent on imports so seriously, does anyone know what we have to gain by leaving?

The economic arguments for leaving the EU have proven weak to non-existent. I don't mean the constant scare stories from number 10, but a multitude of evidence from the IFS, OEDC, IMF etc. Plus the fact Europe would want to deter other members from filling your lead by making out deal as shit as possible.
Why is Merkel a Nazi?
Why don't you like the channel tunnel?
@wanderlust wrote:The thing is that even though it’s been proven beyond doubt that the British people were lied to - and that the lies have been compounded by more lies ever since - some folk just won’t have it that they’ve been taken for mugs.
Admitting you’ve made a mistake is hard but it’s much harder to admit you’ve been used as a pawn in somebody else’s game.
I was going to use a video of Johnson - perhaps the biggest sucker - being caught out lying to illustrate the point but there are so many to choose from...
