I'd wager 99% of people reading this have never heard of those records ..... influential.....a tad at best.  Chances are those records would never have been made at all if not for Sgt Pepper...... 
You'd be better off naming Ziggy Stardust or Early Roxy Music ....Clash ....

That album was a piss take on SP so in that you are correct,  it wouldn't have been made!
Quite a few on here will know it.
Of the ones you name Ziggy is one of my all time faves and a much better listen than out done by the Fabs.
