What's the script there, then?

Not complaining but I always thought that the way Sluffy criticised other sites about being "for profit", whilst maintaining that Nuts was "a bit of fun and nothing more" meant that he'd never take the site down that road.

As I say, I'm not having a dig at the fact that there are now adverts on here because, as someone who's never put a penny into this site, I can't start having a go at the decision and it does make sense.

I was just wondering what had brought it on.

I don't actually see any on here either to be honest.

Normally a subscription is paid for here to be advert free. Smile

It is possible that the subscription has now run out.

While we get this fixed, you could always install Adblock plus in the meantime if you don't already have it and this should remove them.

My initial question was just about why they'd appeared.

Does this block the 100's of adverts in articles in the BEN Boncey?

They have decided to add code into their pages to detect my adblock plus and wreck their website with video adverts that auto play and static adverts that take over the whole page.

I use it with the Chrome browser,and I have no problem with adverts on the BN site. It does allow what it calls possibly useful ads,but you can go into the Adguard settings and turn that option off.
