I think most clubs think the same way... losing to us is a disaster. It seems like yesterday we put fear in most premier clubs when we played at the Reebok.Growler wrote:It seems its a disaster at Sunderland when they don't beat Bolton.I recall 2 Sunderland managers leaving the job after a poor result against Bolton and now the owner says he will give the club away after a defeat by Bolton!

Wonder if Dean and his mates (prior to Ken) will be interested!

Bonce i lived three doors away from the real Keith Laird (Lard), he took Peter Kay to the cleaners about that sketch, and gave the cash to the firefighters, Keith was a good footballer and all round good chap, he was coach at Tempest United when i i was playing. Not saying that PK wasn't funny just that it was a little unfair.

Yep that's the one, it was based on Keith, PK character had to many characteristics for it to be anyone else, so unsure why Peter Kay says he never met Keith, he obviously saw him if he didn't actually meet him.

I'm hoping Sheffield Utd can do us a favour tonight.

Results elsewhere seem to be smiling on us at the moment. Reading stuffed at home and Hull/Barnsley sharing a 1-1 draw, which was their game in hand.

Reading are becoming one to watch, they have a fairly difficult run in playing 4 of the top 6 and only Bolton and Sunderland left to play of the bottom 6.

Let's just hope we beat Preston and look at the bottom six in the rear view mirror!Growler wrote:Reading are becoming one to watch, they have a fairly difficult run in playing 4 of the top 6 and only Bolton and Sunderland left to play of the bottom 6.

Interesting next Tuesday when we go to Reading, a few weeks back I'd have said no chance, but maybe, just maybe.

Bad news. Gary Monk is the new Birmingham manager.
