If ever there was a must win game then this is it, I predict Parkinson goes into it running scared and sits 10 men behind the ball hoping for a breakaway goal, we'll lose.

I'm feeling a bit more positive than that, especially as ALF is starting to come good.

Must not lose. Right now, I’d take a draw especially if Henry isn’t fit.

Hard game to predict this one as Birmingham are playing better . Even more problematic if they win today. I'd go for 1-1 in a nasty game.

Perhaps you should have a look at some of the Birmingham media and chat rooms and make your own assessment of how confident you think Birmingham are?
Then you should have a think about how a comment about the perceived confidence level of the opposition is "negative" as you put it.
Pointing out that your opponent is confident/cocky is generally a big incentive to be focused and on your game isn't it?

It sometimes feels like our fixtures are arranged on purpose to the fans' inconvenience.
How many of these bank holiday weekend home matches have we actually played the following Tuesday evening over the last 7 or 8 seasons, I wonder?

Preview: Five talking points ahead of Bolton Wanderers v Birmingham City
Following their narrow defeat to Leeds United on Good Friday, Bolton Wanderers will be looking to bounce back in style when they welcome Birmingham City to Macron Stadium on Tuesday.
With the Whites looking to extend the gap between themselves and the bottom three as they bid to secure Sky Bet Championship football for next season, bwfc.co.uk picks out five talking points ahead of the visit of the Blues to BL6.
1. Six-pointer
With every last point vital to Wanderers and Birmingham City as they both look to secure Sky Bet Championship football next season, Tuesday night’s game could prove vital to both side’s fortunes come the end of the season.
Currently sitting 20th in the table, a victory for the Whites would see them extend the gap between themselves, the Blues and the bottom three with just six games to go, and could see them gain as many as two places in the table.
With Bolton faring well in previous games against sides around them, beating the likes of Sunderland, Hull City and Barnsley at Macron Stadium, the Trotters know how big an opportunity Tuesday night’s game is against another side fighting for survival.
2. Home form
The Trotters have lost just twice at home in the Sky Bet Championship since September and will be desperate to make home advantage count once again in front of what is set to be one of Macron Stadium’s biggest crowds of the season on Tuesday night.
If Wanderers do cement their Sky Bet Championship status for next season, it will be largely thanks to home form with 28 of their 39 points this term coming on home soil. Meanwhile, visitors Birmingham have picked up just 10 away points all campaign.
With the Blues set to be backed by a sold-out away following, the Whites need to make the most of every advantage possible to ensure another positive result in front of their home fans.
3. Kids for a Quid
It’s the Easter holidays so club bosses have lowered Under-18s ticket for Tuesday’s game to just £1, encouraging supporters to bring the whole family to watch their heroes against Birmingham City!
With Phil Parkinson’s men looking to build on their solid home form, now is the time to get behind your club and help them over the line with other tickets for the game priced at just £15 for adults and £7 for concessions.
Tickets are can be purchased in person at Bolton Central, by calling 0844 871 2932, option 2 then option 1 or by booking tickets online.

4. ALF's scoring form
Adam Le Fondre’s header against Leeds United took his tally to the season to five, with three of his strikes coming in his last four appearances.
The popular forward has risen to the occasion in recent weeks following the departure of Gary Madine in January, rewarding his manager’s faith by showing that his appetite for goalscoring shows no signs of wavering!
Kick-starting his campaign with a stunning volley from the bench against Fulham, the 31-year-old has three goals from his last six starts, and a total of four goals from nine league starts all season.
With such form seeing Le Fondre establish himself as Bolton’s first-choice striker, he will be hungry to continue such form in the final weeks of the season.
5. Be loud, be proud and back the boys!
The club is expecting an electric atmosphere at Macron Stadium on Tuesday night, knowing that three points for the Trotters could prove pivotal in securing another year of Championship football.
Wanderers will need their supporters in full voice on Tuesday to help silence a vocal away following, to help cheer the Whites over the line and to get behind the team for the final stages of the season.
Be loud, be proud and back the boys!

I couldn’t agree more.
He’s absolutely negative about everything all the frigging time.
Would never want him on my side side if the going ever got tough. He’d drag everyone down with his constant defeatism.
We will stay up no matter what shit this Moonman spouts.

Yes but you dismiss his opinion as shit Sluffy and call him a moon man - which hardly suggests any respect for other opinions does it?
Can’t understate how big Tuesday is now, Blues are well up for it and we’ll need to be too. It’s still a must not lose game, we need to build some pressure and make some chances for ALF - may be time to have Obasi in the bench, thought we lacked options against Leeds.

There are plenty of negative Bolton fans, me included, if you've been down to the Macron over the last few years I don't understand how you can be positive.
However, it's much easier to be positive if you "watch" your games on Soccer Saturday.

I still don't get how suggesting that Birmingham will be confident after recent results is anything other than a fair point. Only dickheads with a weird personal agenda would suggest it's being "negative".
Unfortunately, there are a couple of them on here to prove the point.
