Be a real loss if Ameobi went. With Robinson already gone the total lack of pace is concerning.

Ameobis has signed a two year deal.

I agree the lack of pace is a concern, but I'm sure Parky knows this.
You know my feelings on Ameobi....what I will say is if we somehow end up re-signing Chung Lee I would be mildly excited for the new season.

Agreed on Chungy. He must be on around the £20k mark at Palace though, so a longshot.

Agreed, but it sounds like he was happy to come here in January so perhaps there have already been talks. I doubt anyone is going to pay that sort of money for a guy who has hardly played for 2-3 years.

But that was on loan which I'd imagine Palace paying a chunk of his wages.Natasha Whittam wrote:

I was meaning the dialogue will already be open. No one is paying Chungy big money again - he's hardly kicked a ball for 2 years.

If anyone was lightweight it was chungy, so naturally Nat rates him.

He was a quality player though, playing central midfield before he left for Palace, he was ace.
He actually isn't that lightweight for someone so slight, I'd fancy him beating the shit out of you, especially as you bottled the sluffy fight.

I offered a meet up earlier and he was nowhere to be seen.
In regards to CYL. Yeah he was quality before he left and seemed to be getting back to his pre leg break form after so long, then he stupidly decides to join a new club, where he has to start all over again, I think it's too late for him now. He would have made S Korea's world cup squad if he stayed with us.
I loved chungy, but I've moved on

Well, if CYL comes back then I hope he's (a) fully fit and (b) as hungry as he was when he first arrived at BWFC. However given his sheer lack of games at Palace I suspect he's going to be rusty and I don't know if he'll really be all that keen to play at this level again, especially in such a frankly average at best squad. With that said I rate his ability so if he comes in and DOES play to his best it's a brilliant signing for us.
However I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to happen, personally I think if he goes anywhere it'll be to a club that can pay a lot more than we can.
