I'm glad we didn't sign the names that were being floated about. Garner especially.
The squad is definitely better than it was last season, I'm sure we can pick up a left back before the end of the loan transfer window.
A win tomorrow and no one will care about the lack of signings because we'll have the confidence that we can compete at this level.

Ken Anderson explained to those who would listen, wrote:Clubs were hanging on to players they wanted to move on to the very last minute in the hope of achieving an inflated price and in some cases that is what has happened and those who have not been sold will probably now go out on loan.
With the ‘loan window’ still open until the end of the month, what you will see happening is clubs signing players on loan and with an option to buy in January, when the transfer window opens again.

I have a theory about boggersbelief. He's NEVER actually wrong, all the names he mentions DO wind up playing for Bolton Wanderers. Unfortunately it happens in a parallel universe so he looks clueless because we can't see those parallel dimensions.
Somewhere in one of those dimensions is a boggersbelief who is being laughed at because that boggers claimed Oztumer would sign for us and that we'd get Josh Magennis for 200K or so.
So you see boggers really is ITK, it's just he's ITK about another universe instead of this one.

Have you seen the video of M'Bengue's "best bits" at Toulouse? He runs around like a headless chicken and falls over a lot, but he does have a lot of energy and pace....

Can't complain about that if they play to their potential as we need a bit of athleticism and pace. Just a goalie and possibly a midfield beast to go and we have the makings of a competitive squad - for peanuts.
