And the murder took place in Surrey.

To be honest I fail to see how Sadiq Khan can be held responsible for a violent fight on a train in Surrey that ended in one man being stabbed to death. In fact, I fail to see how he is being held responsible for all the other knife crime in London. He already stated that he gets insufficient funding to increase the police numbers. That sounds more like a Home Office problem to me.

Cuts to police numbers since 2010, and community investment schemes have to be examined. Gary Younges article from earlier in the year is a good starting point:
Of the 20 authorities that have faced the steepest cuts in youth work in the last few years, two have been in the West Midlands. Between 2014 -2017, Walsall saw a 67% cut in funding for youth services. In Wolverhampton, it was 86%. Here, the council shut 15 youth centres and 31 “delivery points”, and went from a 100 full-time and part-time workers to just eight full-timers. “They gutted it, basically,” said Millard.
This steep fall in funding has coincided with a precipitous rise in knife crime. In the West Midlands, it has almost doubled in the last five years. More than 1,600 people were cautioned or sentenced for carrying knives and offensive weapons in the West Midlands and Staffordshire last year – the highest rate for eight years. Most of them were young men between 15 and 19 who claimed they were carrying weapons for protection.

Khan will sort it out.
He's so cash strapped he's just spent 30k of tax payers cash on a firm that helps promote him on social media.
Bloody Tories.

Peanuts compared to the millions wasted by Boris: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiT28Pa3dffAhUYAWMBHZTUCV4QFjAAegQIBxAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.independent.co.uk%2Fvoices%2Fthis-is-what-boris-johnson-being-mayor-has-actually-cost-london-10491163.html&usg=AOvVaw0aLb8SilDc6P38QBx2KWql
And that doesn't even include the £300,000 loss on the water cannons he bought.

You’ve always been a great poster so I assume this is a joke.
The mayors office has actually spent £30k on the #londonisopen social media campaign.
That campaign is aimed at limiting the damage of Brexit on London - whose success is based upon its global appeal.
It’s also an absolute pittance in terms of social media marketing spend.

Could do with them cannons now London is a crime ridden shit hole.
Khan will sort it though like he's sorted cross rail and tfl. Only 3 billion in the red all told.
He has an army of press officers and pr gurus (2 million budget increase in this area) and spunked 3 million quid on his EU themed fireworks display, could employ a few coppers with that money.
He'll get reelected though.

How does tweeting a hashtag limit the damage of brexit. The pr firm have been hired to find celebrities to use the hashtag.. all at the cost of 30k.
He obviously can do no wrong in some people's eyes. The guy is a complete and utter fraud.

Sorry how much do you think the prime ministers office spends on PR? It’s 2019 it’s a part of life, not sure why you’re surprised by it?
At least spending the money on pro European slants is servicing his constituents. An overwhelmingly pro EU city, whose wealth is based on globalisation and citizens include EU nationals. Even after Brexit those things won’t change, London will always be Pro-EU.

I'm surprised because he's spent the whole of his tenure saying how he's got no money to spend because of callous Tory cuts.
How is tweeting about the EU serving anyone. Unbelievable that people think that is worthwhile I don't care what year it is or who is doing it.

We could debate the merits of social media as a PR platform all day, but given its effect in spreading news and views over recent years (particularly around Brexit) it’s relatively well established now that it plays a significant role in influencing voters. So you won’t find many ignoring it now.

A man has been rushed to hospital having sustained stab wounds in broad daylight outside Blackhorse Road Tube Station.
The Met Police say the victims condition is currently unknown and a crime scene remains.

Another area that has been hammered by cuts. There’s no community provision to help prevent kids turning to gangs now, the Tories have to change course.

I never had any "community provision" when growing up.
Strangely I never went out and stabbed anyone.

Panic as man stabbed outside East London's Blackhorse Road station sparking evacuation.
