What if you have no parents? Or a single parent who can’t be around as often? These families need support - that’s where local government should come in (and did more so until 2010).

And your question on ethnic minorities, the correlation is actually between inner city, low income demographics and where gang culture is prominent. Joining a gang is not an inherent urge built into certain gene pools as your comment implied to me.

Neither did I - but I was fortunate enough not to need it, as we’re you I’d imagine.

I was being deliberately flippant, cuts aren’t the only contributory factor. But community centres and services play a major role in prevention, as do police on the streets - what’s the other solution?

If if you think a few pool tables is all these places offer it's no wonder you don't put any value on them. You shouldn't want to remove something you don't understand.
