Today is the day we were supposed to leave isn't it - and we are still no wiser what the plan is?

It's a joke.

For me it is about the will of the people BUT that will isn't fixed and changes over time and circumstances and that's why government policies change and political party's get voted in and voted out.

It's clear that some/many people who voted for Brexit have since the referendum changed their minds - of course some/many will still think the same.

What we should do is put it to the people again and see what result we get after all this faffing about over the last two and a half years.

If it stays in favour of Brexit we should come out immediately without any agreements - and suffer the consequences no matter what.  If it comes out remain we should revoke our desire to leave the EU and commit to it for at least another say two years of the EU cycle (a further 10 years).

By that time surely we would have come up with an agreed master plan to leave the EU in a mutually beneficial way to all if the public seek a further referendum in the future.

It's not rocket science, easily achievable and does what the public wants.

Of course this will never happen though.

Exactly sluffy, we need to ask people what they want now it is a lot clearer what brexit will mean. That is democracy and oddly so few brexiteers seem willing to do this.

Three years is a very long time in politics and politicians change their minds all the time so why can't voters?

No problem with that Hipster. If we stay in the EU I suspect Scotland will stay in the UK.

Vote Leave has dropped its appeal over breaking electoral law, so guilty as charged of illegally exceeding spending limits. So much for democracy.

Leave won FFS get over it it won't change. Remainers will keep wanting another referendum until they win but they won't win so stop dreaming.

How often should we have these referenda considering people are obviously allowed to change their minds.

So hold another referendum if you are so confident that you will win it.

The issue is quite obviously the non implementation of the result it's nothing to do with another vote.

But obviously it's sets a precident, which we all know would cease to be followed as soon as the remain result that MPs want came through.

As is proven by the people's vote mob staunchly against another indyref.

What they really want is a remain result and to never ask the people any questions of any type ever again... Just watch .
