Too simplistic to assume parties with the same name all believe the same things.

Labour aren't on that list.
But assuming everyone thinks the same because they have voted a certain way is very stupid.
But by putting all the tory votes in the leave column you are doing just that.
Yes, and claiming a "remain win" from these results as Im sure you've done in this thread is similar.

I get that people wanted to stay in the EU, but what I don't get is the hysteria about being outside the EU.
The world isn't going to end, plenty of countries live outside the EU and are doing fine.
People claiming their kids and grandchildren's lives are going to be ruined! Fucking idiots.
Generations before us lived through two world wars, some of you snowflakes need to get a grip.

"Boris Johnson has been ordered to appear in court over claims he lied by saying the UK gave the EU £350m a week.
The Tory leadership candidate has been accused of misconduct in public office after making the claim during the 2016 EU referendum campaign."
Maximum sentence if found guilty is life imprisonment.,
And these are the sort of lies that the public had to rely on as the basis of their choice as to whether to remain or leave!. The result of a referendum where lies dominate should be declared null and void obviously.

Curious post there Nat!
I don't think anyone is suffering from hysteria about this. People with a different view on it are thinking quite rationally about the consequences. Nobody is getting hysterical.
Of course plenty of countries are living outside the EU. But they're outside Europe as well, whilst many of the countries in the EU are doing really well as well because they are members.
Kidsand grandkids lives won't be ruined- they'll just be more difficult.
Yes -there were two world wars ,both of which were short lived and so affected a part of each generation. And of course they were both started in Europe and fought before the EU existed between current members of the EU.
Those who founded the EU ( and its predecessor organisations- Gaspari, Schumann ,Adenauer) founded it to avoid further European conflict. And they were successful.
So a lot of rational thinking has gone on here- not hysteria,
You advise those who want to remain to get a grip. Get a grip on what? The fact that there was a previous referendum with a narrow victory to leave that people like me didn't like? I've got a grip on that!
Leaving the EU is probably the most important political and economic event in the lifetime of any body who posts on here and for the citizenship of this country.
It needs serious debate about whether that is still what we want to do. Calling people fucking idiots or weirdo's doesn't help. But go on and call me that if you want, and Angry dad can join in the abuse too. But it doesn't affect the fact that the decision to leave or remain , remains a deeply divisive decision that needs to be rationally though through again now that we know that the lies and half truths we were told three years ago were precisely that.

Are you actually a moderator? Do you moderate yourself? Can you not tolerate others' opinions in a civilised way? Very little of what I wrote was opinion, in any case. It simply revealed that Boris is to stand trial for misrepresentation that was likely to sway some voters.....though clearly not yourself.

It’s when people like you constantly bash people who voted for brexit trying to pin anything on the whole thing to get out of a democratic vote etc and it’s pathetic.
I like others didn’t take the advice of Boris Johnson at his brexit events and already had our own opinions on the EU.

I'm a remainer but don't recall doing any of the above. Reading through the comments on here it certainly doesn't seem to be the other remainers who are acting like spoilt kids either. Overgeneralising about groups is pretty poor form in my opinion.

As usual all the abuse and childish behaviour comes from the brexit fans.
I have yet to see any rational argument from any of them as to why they think leaving the EU is a good idea. It is almost as if they can't provide a rational argument.
karly tells us he "already had his own opinions on the EU" and was apparently unifluenced by anything said by the brexiteers. Sadly he has never shared those insights with the rest of us, so do tell us karly what is so bad about the EU and why we are going to be better off leaving it.
