He'll have a job to do this as the stadium will be locked and there will be no fans. What does the fat bastard think he's going to achieve? The fans have no say, no influence at all on the outcomes of this increasingly farcical situation.

Can the league cancel the games though? wont this automatically mean suspension from the league, or relegation still further, or a million billion gazillion points deducted for not making the playing dates for the rest of the fixtures?terenceanne wrote:Is there anyone on here that actually believes all this is going to play out for our benefit?
It's Monday and we have no official owners, still wrapped up in court, no players, no directors, no staff and half a manager and another game tomorrow. One point that I agree with Parky is that the league should cancel our games until all this is sorted.
Not sure where it stops to be honest.
Having said all that, i agree, fixtures should be postponed to play fair with all fans, both home ones and from clubs who ar due to play at BW. feck knows its bad enough sky changing playing dates at the last minute, but those that are about to commit to travelling expenses in advance need a break too.
Now, what if, (and work with me here) the EFL , god forbid, say "thats it, your gone, never to darken our doorstep again", wont this clear the way for a wholesale buyout of the whole site for redevelopment? "After all" they will say, "no ones using the facility and as such its a white elephant".
Maybe this is all a power play to get the whole lot in 1 easy swoop and blame it on the previous owners?
Not seeing a lot of joy here, and think its disgusting.
Heads up lads and lasses, soon cometh 'kill or cure' time, and i hope to god its the latter.
Cheers
Dave

The question will be … is that better than nowt? or put us out of our misery now and call it a day on the club.

Bolton. Football Ventures still swinging. Their rivals need to get cracking. Hotel admin expect a result very shortly. Winner of that crucial in club ownership.

Buyer. Not bidder. Surprised if not decided later today or tomorrow. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

There is one major rival. But they need to move fast I would suggest. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Keep saying it. Buying something major like a hotel needs a lot of background work and paper work. Legal world never move as fast as you would want. Easy job for admin people. Bid that works comes in properly. Game over. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

As they are being flogged off separately, what happens if the hotel is sold to the BooHoo boys, and they don't want the football club, or are they automatic owners of the club?

After input from Baroness Ann Taylor of Bolton and the Football Supporters Association (FSA), a meeting with Debbie Jevans (EFL CE) had been scheduled for tomorrow lunchtime.
Representatives of Forever Bury, Sky Blues Trust, Blackpool Supporters' Trust and Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust, along with the FSA, were due to meet Debbie Jevans (EFL Chief Exec) at the EFL HQ in Preston.
However, the meeting has today been cancelled. This is very frustrating and disappointing, particularly with the impending expulsion of Bury FC and the still unresolved take-over at Bolton Wanderers FC.
As a collective, we were looking to make the EFL fully aware of the feelings of supporters and their despair at the lack of intervention from the EFL in the growing numbers of dysfunctional ownership issues. Tomorrow would have been that opportunity.
We now await a rescheduling of the meeting and sincerely hope that it is not too late to save our clubs from further catastrophes.
The clock is ticking for our national game. The EFL need to take note and act now.
