The 55-year-old has a long a varied career in football, but never in club ownership, and never in England, which is where Kuyt could come in handy.
Having played in England for eight years, Kuyt has an understanding of the English football culture and fan expectation, although managing Bolton will be very different to his experience at Anfield.
Right now Bolton fans just want the long-term future of their club to be secure and stable. The intentions of the pair should be revealed in the coming weeks, but it could be good news for Bolton.

The Verdict

Hopefully this is the good news that Bolton fans have been craving, but it is too early to suggest that there is finally something for them to be positive about – as we don’t know for certain if Bolton is the club they are targeting.
The partnership of Kuyt and Jensen has a lot of positives about it, though. Jensen is an experienced football man and having Kuyt alongside him makes up for his lack of experience in England. Whichever club they choose to takeover should feel very optimistic with them at the helm.
