Bonce's own personal thread. Volume X - Page 49 BondbrokerBOND BROKER

Bond Broker has been declared to run in the following race:

Sunday 28 January
4.30 Fontwell (Sky Sports) Open National Hunt Flat Race (Class 5) 2m1f+

There are 12 runners and Harry Cobden is booked to ride.

Probably be a short price and not worth bothering with.

11/8 on bet365. One to watch, but I'll keep my powder dry this time.

ISSUING AUTHORITY

Issuing Authority has been declared to run in the following race:

Tuesday 30 January
3.20 Chepstow (Sky Sports) Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (Class 3) 2m+

There are four runners and James Bowen is booked to ride.

Nicky Henderson says Issuing Authority is fresh and well and has been ready to run again for a couple of weeks. Nicky says two miles on a galloping course like Chepstow should suit him well, and the testing, tiring ground should be fine following his latest win at Haydock. Nicky says Issuing Authority is up in the weights following his recent win, but there could be further improvement to come over two miles, so he hopes for a good run.

8/13. I'll give this one a miss.

Just renewed my ST, but a few people I know aren't bothering, due mainly to the fact that they can't get to midweek matches these days, and the new Sky deal means there'll be fewer Saturday games.
Don't know for sure if that's right. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

i need to have a serious think about it too. Don't go to midweek games as trains are unreliable and even Saturday games are the same now. No trains at weekends between Manchester and Bolton for the next couple of months so just makes the journey much longer and not sure i can be arsed anymore  Rolling Eyes

I feel the same. I'm buggered without a lift.
I spent £140 quid at the start of this season on an International pass. Using a VPN you can watch every match, home and away. Bargain. So, in person or online, I haven't missed a game.
Age and travelling problems are a pain, but the online option is dirt cheap. I think it's the future for a lot of supporters.

I've rediscovered the shaving brush.
I've been using that canned stuff for years, but never really felt I've been getting a decent shave.
Going back to the brush has been a revelation. Smooth as a babies wotsit.

I remember him from when he was in Eastenders.

My dad and grandad always had Dad's Army on and will fondly remember Pike in it.

RIP!

Funnily enough, I have been watching classic eastenders on Drama and recently looked him up on wikipedia too.

It will never be the same now knowing Derek is dead.

Very sad news. The last of the few. I'm still watching it!

I used to identify with Pikey. Now I identify with Private Godfrey. Such is life.
