Neither of my parents vote. I live with my mother and she has always said it is a waste of time because they are all the same. They promise stuff and never deliver. I decided to vote Labour because I know they are the right party for me, I have looked into it all when I left school because I knew that in the next election I would be able to vote.

Labour is widely described as the party for the hard working class like myself. I knew that I shouldn't vote for Labour on that basis alone therefore I did some digging and came across the Thatcher years which made me rule out ever voting conservatives.

I would never vote for the joke of a party that is BNP. As much as I disagree with all the foreigners coming into the country, the way they go about things isn't the way to sort out that problem.

Lib Dem's are a waste of vote, and I blame students for the reason why we have the two knuckle heads we have now incharge of this country at the moment. Clegg went round promising all this bollocks about tuition fee's been scrapped and all that bollocks and most of the uni lot lapped it all up and vote for the cunt. You'd think the uni lot would use their heads and realise that we was chatting bullshit from the word go. As a result of them being really gullible we have two complete cocks running this country in a shambolic way.

As for Ukip, I didn't really do much digging about them as I knew that it would be a waste of vote, because there is no way they would get the level of votes the main two parties would get.

Been born in 1991 most my life I have lived under a Labour govrnment and I haven't really had any complaints as to how the standard of living has been over them years.

I could easily not vote, however I believe that if you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the country or anything to do with it. If you disagree or hate something that bad, you would do something to try change that. It's ok people saying yeah but my one vote won't make a difference, but if you imagine how many other people are thinking the same thing and how different the outcomes would be if they actually voted then they would probably think twice.

On a final note, I would like to leave you with this great song by "The Beat" enjoy.

Good tune

I can't see anything that outlines why you vote Labour, aside of following them because you are working class

The outcome would be the same. It doesn't matter who wins as they're all full of shit imo.

I am a Freeman of the land and don't vote.

Like I've said, I have lived under them most my life, and I never had any complaints about the standard of living under them, therefore they must of done something right. Why change something you are happy with? Doesn't make sense to me. I feel personally I'd be better off under a Labour government. When I left school and went to college to train to be a sparky, work was really hard to come by because of the situation the contry was in, and rather than me leaving and losing out all the work I had done towards it, the government said they would pay for us to stay on and do our level 3 technical certificate, which I am really thankful of. In addition to that, while In college I got £30 a week towards college books, food for college etc which now under the Tories it has been scrapped. Ridiculous.

You idiot, you lived with your Mum through the Labour government. She probably worked two jobs to buy your iPod and your porn mags while she wore rags and read last weeks newspapers.

No not at all, my mother raised me and my brother on her own, and we never went without. Yes, my mother did work, but only one job and always made miricles happen with what she had. She always raised us to never be stupid with money and always showed us that if we wanted something, you'd have to work hard and save for it. My mother has never had a well paid job, but she always lived with in her means and never got into debt. As soon as I went to college I got myself a job and worked the days I didn't go to college ever since then I have always had a job and used what my mum taught me as a kid to become the person I am today. Everyone I speak to say the years Blair were incharge were some of the best years in recent times, and I would agree with that.

That's my point. It's down to your Mum's efforts that you never went without, nothing to do with the government.

It's amazing how many Labour voters vote for them simply because they think they're the "working class party". Have you ever met a Labour MP?

Open up your mind LT.

Amusing thing is that your values seem to be more conservative rather than socialist.

We are now paying heavily for the deluded Blair years.

I hope life brings you success, LT

I never went without, but I never got right away either. However David and his lot wouldn't have given a toss about my mother, they are all for couples with children, fuck the hard working single parents when it comes to him.

Also FYI when I was in school, As a school councilor I had the honour of taking Tony Blair around my school when he came to open it. He came across as a really nice bloke, very friendly and a nice chap.

No I wouldn't vote UKIP anybody that does needs to actually read their website, the 3 main parties aren't great but UKIP are just extreme Tories, apart from tax breaks to the rich and scrapping the inheritance tax they want to abolish the smoking ban, have a referendum on fox hunting and don't believe in global warming. Backwards idiots basically.

Shit like 'the sun' is scaring people into thinking the countries in crisis with immigration, tighter controls need to be implemented no doubt but UKIPs freeze on all immigration is by no means the answer.

Who give's a hoot about the Iraq? I agree as to the true reason we went there. If our country can benefit from something, then why the hell not do it? At the end of the day they were looking out for the countires best interests, which I think is a good thing at the end of the day.

It's a good starting point. It's difficult to get into Australia but they're probably the richest country on Earth right now.

Not at all, why not go invade another country for it's oil? If we as a country can benefit from something then let's do it. It's a dog eat dog world, you should always look out for yourself.

A lot of people give a hoot about Iraq, and British lives were lost for a reason that turned out to be complete bullshit not to mention countless Iraqis you're completely wrong it was not a good thing.

LT, they're trying to put the focus back on family life, not on 16 year old slappers who just want a free house. It's one of the few things they've got right.
