As and aside, I wonder how much his behaviour added to the Newcastle fans rioting?

Thanks Sluffy, and fair enough, his behaviour was out of order. However, that doesn't mean Di Canio's should be condoned.

I neither like nor dislike Di Canio, so I'm not looking to blame hime for anything. I genuinely feel that he went ott this afternoon. I know he wants to make his mark in the Premier, but I dont think this will help.

Bollocks. In my mind he did do some thing wrong. If you cant accept that, why should I try to explain it to you. You have made your mind up, as you accuse me of doing, so lets just drop it.

Sunderland played alright today, first half very good, second half, bit of luck with the disallowed goal but 2 superb finishes in the second half.

They deserved to win.

Love the way he celebrated, whats wrong with doing that? As long as he's not doing it in the other managers face. Pardew is a TWAT IMO, one of the biggest hypocrites in the game, a grade a wanker. And massively overachieved last season, most of the things i read attribute the success to that guy they have scouting the French leagues who's plucked some crackers out of the sky for decent prices.

Di canio is an all or nothing type deal, thats why i wouldn't want him, when it's going good i bet he's brilliant, but when he starts calling people out and having his tantrums the dressing room will split faster than a badly made mayo.

I thought his celebrations were superb, not enough managers like that IMO.

Di Canio knows exactly what he's going. New club, decent players lacking motivation. His players responded and Di Canio did it to get the fans on board too. That slide will have done a lot to get the (moaning) fans behind the team for the rest of the season. Superb premeditated PR exercise, nicely executed.

I remember when Porto knocked out UTD at Old Trafford, and Mourinho ran all the way up the pitch to celebrate with the players, class.

Fergie threw his dummy out though witch made it even more class.
