Were you there? No way. I had the RoadRunner video of all our goals for that season and the recording was hilarious for that Hull game. I remember McGinlay doing a Gazza celebration when he scored. I remember watching that game on Ceefax, when we took the lead I was going bananas. They were the days eh?

The best days. Will never be beaten.

If Dougie get's us over this final hurdle and into the play off's with most of our best players missing, Mark Davies, Spearing, Dawson, Ngog, a half fit Holden and a squad paper thin he deserves a standing ovation at the end of the game.

Everybody deserves a standing ovation, even Gartside.

I remember the day of the murder like it was yesterday. Terrible day for both clubs and football in general.

Woo Hoo ! Just bought my ticket. A mere £35 for what promises to be a good day out (Can't remember what I was going to do on Saturday, but hope it wasn't important) Very Happy

Money well spent, we'll win.

Freedman is underrated .

I like Freedman. I like his quiet but confident approach.

And I thought Liverpool fans lived in the past! Must be a "pool" thing.

I swear, its going to get messy this.

Riot police are grouping in Blackpool, Preston and chorley apparently. I remember what happened in chorley last time.

If anyone has kids, id advise very strongly to stay away from Horwich Parkway, scotts and harvester after the game, Ive had a look round some forums and the pool fans are planning to cause a lot of bother... again.

I know a guy who is a copper in bury and he's said the police have this match and Forest v Leicester as 'Cat C' games (means full policing apparently)

If we win on Saturday I think a pitch invasion would be stupid and premature as we won't have actually won anything other than a game and we'd be a laughing stock. Face it - if the table doesn't lie, Blackpool is the easiest of our remaining fixtures. If we get through and somehow manage to win the playoffs that's another matter.

Does anyone know how we are getting on with ticket sales? I know they've sold out their allocation (5000).

I bet it will be a good crowd on seeing that its the last game of the season, and so much riding on it.

I've spoke to a few non season ticket holders who have tried sitting in certain sections of the ground but they are sold out.

I think Blackpool only have 300 tickets remaining too so it's going to be a hell of an atmosphere.
