Fickle Bolton fans have been slagging off our keepers for as long as I can remember, maybe it's something in the `hoppy water`. The only ones' who seemed have escaped large scale critism in my time are Eddie Hopkinson, Jim McDonagh and Keith Branagan. Probably if a keeper makes a mistake its a goal. Outfield players can get away with mistakes! Goal keeping is very much a confidence thing which can be undermined by vocal abuse.
