Mine would be, locally, Southport and St Annes.

Whitby and the North Yorkshire Coast and The Dales.

Durham is lovely.
I really like The New Forest.
I like Norfolk.
North west Scotland and the islands is very nice.
The lakes.

The most local place I like to visit is Barrow Bridge. Anybody that reckons Bolton's an unmitigated shithole should take a walk round there sometime.
Southport's nice, Chester's a fantastic city, love North Wales, particularly Abersoch and Porthmadog. Then there's Cornwall, which is out of this world in parts.
Have to confess to always looking forward to a day out in London, too.

Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District [love to get to the top of Hellvelyn] for a day out. Do enjoy a city break for a weekend York, Durham and London.

Remember going to Barrow Bridge when I was a kid, it was like going on holliday.

Fantastic place, the Boating Lake and the Arcade.

Always fancied living up there

During our warm spell I recently went to Matlock and had a great few days.

Edinburgh is the best city in the United Kingdom.

I really like Plymouth as well.

Pint for pint you can't beat Skipton and the Woolly Sheep is a great place to sup ale and sleep off your hangover.
