Without giving away any spoilers, do you not think the whole prison location was a bit far fetched?

And that thing he did with the shiny piece of metal....?

I just thought it was daft.

It was daft, but I don't mind things being far fetched, as long as it keeps me interested. It reminded me of Lock-up.

Just seen Kathleen Turner on the One Show. Has she had a sex change?

Fargo: The Series.

I'm a massive fan of the film and also really enjoyed the first episode of the series last night.

Martin Freeman was brilliant.

Keegan wrote:I just finished season 2 of "House of Cards" by Netflix which I understand is an American remake of a British series of the same name. I find it to be very good if predictable in some ways. Has anyone here seen both? If so, is the remake faithful to the original?

I watched season 1 of House of Cards last week. Kevin Spacey was made for the role of Francis Underwood. Looking forward to season 2.

She hasn't matured like a fine wine but she was a classy lady thirty years ago.

I finished it recently.

Obviously won't spoil it in anyway.

Enjoyed it a lot but it simply doesn't touch The Wire or Six Feet Under IMO, only saying that because so many claim it's the best show ever.

Not nearly as scummy as you.

Although we all know everything you say on here is bollocks, so I'll change that to not nearly as scummy as the Angry Dad character.

The Saul show is actually a prequel, So if Jessie is in it I don't know how they will play that because he wouldn't know Saul.

Mike is a recurring character though.

Brilliant documentary on BBC 2 now. Fifty years on from the Thalidomide scandal. The truth now emerges.

Does anybody else watch Derek on Channel 4. Can't stand Ricky Gervais but he is brilliant in that, last nights episode had me in tears, it was just beautiful. If you can watch it on 4 on demand without shedding one tear then you are not human.

"Edge of Tomorrow" / IMAX 3D Review:

1. Didn't know I was being roped in to watching this and didn't know it was going to be in 3D otherwise would have brought four of the several pairs of 3D glasses stashed in a bowl of random stuff in the corner of the kitchen instead of having to buy them again.
2. £14 apiece including specs. Seriously. For this.
3. Did the Groundhog Day thing enough at the beginning but mercifully gave the audience some credit for getting it before it turned nasty in the cheap seats and started to move on a bit faster.
Lightweight and predictable but the 3D took the action up a few notches so it was a laugh.
4. Recycled the 3D specs this time

4/10 but turbo charged to 6/10 by IMAX 3D
Would have been 7/10 but they cranked the sound up so much we got pinned to the chairs when the actors breathed.
