Big Brother on Channel 5 features Bolton's favourite former prostitute, Helen Wood. A single parent slapper of the highest pedigree. Every other word that comes out of her mouth starts with F. Seeing as how she has been given a pass to the final her son will have plenty of time to watch his mum on the television.

There are some strange cookies in there this year. The Scottish virgin lingerie model doesn't seem cut out for this reality television lark.

Anybody a fan of Springwatch? What a marvellous programme. Who would have thought that Adders ate young Goldfinch fledglings or that 30% of a Tawny Owl chicks diet was earthworms and slugs?

It's a brilliant show and it's amazing what the hidden cameras turn up.

Watching that clip reminds me of an interesting character who was doing the rounds in the late seventies. A good friend of mine was a black belt in karate and worked as a doorman at Pips in Manchester ( not AD ). One night he was on the door and Paul Sykes turned up at the club and tried to gain entry. My mate refused him because he was pissed and had trouble written all over him. He eventually sloped off after making the usual threats about remembering his name etc etc. My mate hadn't a clue who he was at that time. It turned out that Sykes had spent most of his life in prison even though his dad was a prison officer. After coming out of prison Sykes turned professional and after just eight fights he fought for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight boxing titles. He lost to the champion, John L Gardner and then set up his own debt collecting agency which he called the ' Last Resort Debt Collecting Agency '.

He actually made a decent living out of it until booze and fags got the better of him.

Just bought a box set of 'The Prisoner',never got into it at the time it first aired all those years ago,so I'm gonna have another go. Anyone know what the hell it's all about?

Haven't a clue.

Didn't get it as a teenager, tried again a couple of years ago and still none the wiser.

Still, watching the full box set should keep you busy for a while, so I'll "be seein' ya."

(See what I did there?)

I refer the honourable gentleman to my previous answer.

I just think they were all on drugs - it was the swinging '60s after all.

Just relax and enjoy it. The only problem I have with it is the ending which is pretty confusing as apparently the series was stopped prematurely (17 episodes in) rather than finishing as McGoohan intended.

There is lots of stuff on the internet if you are interested.

It's bloody hard work and rather dated. Swap it for Prison Break.

Cheers mate. Always wanted to fathom it out. I'd heard about it ending not quite as McGoohan intended but I never really delved into it. Quite a few books about it too. I'll take your advice and relax and enjoy it.Film and TV review. - Page 14 ReclinerI'll get Prison Break next RT. Thanks for the tip.

Yes it's about a big balloon that eats twats that have numbers instead of names then spits them out gay.

My cat Bernard chews up adders and puts then in shoes.

I watched 'Devil's Knot' the other day, true story of a couple of kids that got murdered by some satanic worshipper teenagers , but it had conspiracy, worth a watch.

I only watch films based on true events, any recommendations?

I think Titanic may be based on a true story, but I'm not certain.

It's a great film - they knew who did it but couldn't get enough evidence to convict.
