Nat seems to know a lot about dogging. She's probably only recognisable when she bends over.

A better analogy would be giving pensioners or students a reduced price for the same rail journey as those who pay full whack.
Do they charge you for dogging Natasha? I thought it was free to lurk about in the background and then stare through people's car windows although I may be getting confused with traffic wardens. No wonder Stan Collymore has to work for Talk Shite - that's presumably where all his football earnings went.

I don't know really. I was walking my dog in the park not so long back when I came across a load of people crowding round an old Ford Fiesta. I couldn't see what was going on for all the bodies, but someone asked me for a contribution so I handed over £5. It was only later when I got back to my own car and some bloke asked if he could jump alongside me did it register that I had stumbled on a sacred dogging circle.wanderlust wrote:

Thursday nights have never been quite the same since.

You get a different bloody view which ever stand you are sitting in when your watching a football match though so why should that matter.Natasha Whittam wrote:You utter bellend. I'm guessing the away end isn't in the home end so the seats are different and the view is different - hence a different ticket price.aaron_bwfc wrote:It's fucking bollocks, this is something I don't get about football and the price of it. How can it be legal to charge someone £12 and another person £27 for the same bloody game of football.
Just like at a concert, cinema or dogging event.
I can see why you should pay a different price for sitting right at the back of a stand to when your at the front but just because you sit at the front of it but why should it make a difference if your at the front of the south stand or at the front of the north stand.

£12 for an adult ticket, just before Xmas in a shared car of four people would have been affordable, but I'm not paying over £40 for a train journey and £27 for a ticket, so I'm out!

We'll get three points - regardless of how much our fans are required to pay to see the victory.

I won't be going, not at that ridiculous price. I normally don't agree with people swearing on forums but in this case I absolutely and wholeheartedly echo the sentiment white has so eloquently expressed.White84 wrote:Take a few hundred bolton in with borough n see what happens Fucking smoggies £27 plus travel the place is the arse end of the world.total twats just before Xmas as well.

I got a B in Literature and an A in Language. In fact I got nine 'O' Levels in all BUT I also managed to FAIL CSE French. I got a grade 4 in that when most people could get a CSE grade 3 just by showing up to take the exam. So I'm not a complete swot who passed everything he took.White84 wrote:I'll have you know I got a grade C at English Literature, when O Levels were a proper qualification.Showing my age lol.
I was in the last year to take 'O' Levels at my school and thank God for it because having seen the GCSE that replaced them I have to say they really are not as hard as 'O' Levels were. I take nothing away from the pupils who take them and pass them but I feel that it's actually unfair to them in a way. They get told they have a meaningful qualification without really being prepared for the big bad world they'll find when they leave education. I actually have to administer basic mathematics tests to prospective employees and I really am astonished at how many young people with a 'good' GCSE grade (a* - C) have to use a calculator for simple addition and subtraction questions. I really hate how long multiplication and division are now taught. I suppose it may well be down to me being middle aged and perhaps closed-minded but I actually don't place much value or faith in current teaching methods or the results of them.

My mate sent Boro an email asking them why aren't charging us Bolton fans the same as the Boro supporters? This is the reply.
Dear Mr ?
Thank you very much for your email to Middlesbrough Football Club. All feedback is gratefully received and as a club we always keep our promise to respond within 7 working days.
We felt it was appropriate to arrange a special promotion for our game with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday November 30 as it will be the first home fixture for our new Head Coach, Aitor Karanka. As such it has particular significance for our own fans.
Under Football League rules, each club is entitled to run up to four “local” promotions each season in which home supporters are offered a discounted ticket price. The Bolton match falls into this category.
Away supporters will be charged at our standard matchday rate, which is competitively priced with most Championship clubs. Please be assured that it also reflects the expected ticketing price class that will be set for our supporters when they visit the Reebok Stadium on New Year’s Day.
Thank you once again for writing in,
Best wishes,
Anthony

It's a nice stadium and I was fully intent on going until I heard about the pricing. I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way. Boro would have been just as well giving us the £12 tickets. They might have made more that way, and not looked like mercenary bastards.

It's a fucking joke, Boro don't give a fuck because it makes it a better atmosphere for the home end but to charge one set of more than double the price than others isn't on IMO.
Stupid Teeside bastards.

Also another thing is that due to this, BWFC have halved the coach price for our fans to £8.50.
Surely it couldn't have been £17.00 return per fan?
Seems quite a lot...

It wouldn't surprise me, it's about 12 for a game to derby or stoke.

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the club are now offering half-price coach travel for the game at Middlesbrough at the end of the month.karlypants wrote:Also another thing is that due to this, BWFC have halved the coach price for our fans to £8.50.

The Whites will make the journey to Teesside on Saturday 30 November and Wanderers supporters can now make the 242 mile round trip for just £8.50.
The reduced coach pricing follows Middlesbrough’s decision to run a local promotion ticket offer for home supporters whilst away tickets remain at full price.
The club has made representations to Middlesbrough to extend their offer to Bolton supporters but the decision has been made to run a price promotion for home supporters only. As a consequence the club will be now raising its concerns to the Football League.
Tickets prices for Bolton Wanderers supporters for the game are as follows:
Adults: £27
Over 65s: £17
Under 18s: £14
If you have already purchased coach travel please contact Bolton Central on 0844 871 2932 for a partial refund. Coach travel is only available to those with a valid away ticket.
