Someone recently made the point that under British law any changes to the Constitution require a two-thirds majority at the end of an extensive Parliamentary debate in both Houses - and yet here we are in a situation where a narrow simple public majority is being taken as carte blanche by an unelected Prime Minister to ignore the Constitution itself.

Last night I dreamt that Sturgeon got her way with Independence, and then England & Wales and NIĀ applied to rejoin the EU and were readmitted after seeing the error of our ways. Then an independent Scotland applied and got told to sod off as we don't want any more deficit/debtor countries joining.
So-England back in the EU and Scotland out of it.
Happy days!!

I think only calling an early election requires a two thirds majority. Other changes just need a simple majority. However if May does decide to go for an early election she can rely on the brexit loving gimp Corbyn to put a three line whip on supporting her. Talk about turkeys voting for Christmas.
