We can move up to 22nd in the table if other results go our way (ie Norwich beat Fulham at Fulham and Blackpool lose against Huddersfield - and we win) after the international break.

So, will we still be in the top six by Xmas as I have predicted all along?

I think we'll get a point here and be somewhere between tenth and fifteenth come christmas but not miles away from either the play offs or the drop. It's a tight league as we already know and some crazy things can happen in it. 

Whatever happens I'm sure Neil Lennon will at least bring a sense of renewed hope with him. That's something that's been in very short supply over the last eight months to a year especially.

Probably too early for Lennon to have any impact.  He doesn't know the players first names yet.  And he's not had the pleasure of seeing Pratts pass a ball straight out of play 20 feet away from the nearest Bolton player.  Although the pressure of trying to impress the new boss might have an effect.  I'll go for a draw 1-1

As I got told off last night for being negative because I dared to question Lennon's credentials, I shall don my "Happy Clap Happy Hat" and confidently predict an 8-0 win for us.

Birmingham won't know what's hit 'em and it will be the most one-sided match in footballing history.

In fact, their manager will probably resign on the spot after suffering such a humiliating defeat.

No time to find out enough about the players to make significant changes so would expect more or less the same personnel for the first game, but I would expect to see some organisational and hopefully attitudinal changes which may be enough to get us the draw. Brum will be expecting the new manager bounce effect. Should be interesting.
