Hope that predicted storm is a flop. Not much fun working outdoors in that type of weather.

Trying to snow in Birchwood. Anything happening up Bolton way?
Will I freeze to my seat this afternoon?

No snow, bit of wet cold soggy stuff, but that's what happens when you let the missus cook breakfast.

I've booked today and tomorrow off and Doris has just slapped me in the face and left me flat on my back in a puddle on the golf course.
It was horrendous out there and even the dog decided he'd had enough after half an hour.
Cheers Doris......

We were nearly flattened by a sign that decided to blow down close to where we were working. At which point we took our cold, wet and bedraggled bodies up to the security lodge to grab a cup of tea and some Jaffa Cakes.(Biscuits ).
For some reason the boss hadn't turned up. Said he was stuck in traffic.
So we ate his share of the Jaffa wotsits.

Can't say I blame you.
I've just treated myself to a chicken & mushroom pot noodle with a big dollop of (smooth) peanut butter stirred into it.
Student Ambrosia!

Not my cup of tea.
I didn't get where I am today by eating pot noodle with a big dollop of peanut butter stirred into it.

Speaking of falling and rising, I've just wound up on my arse again for the second time today. Tesco car park this time.
This weather is properly dangerous and I'm starting to wish I'd gone in work.
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is a first because I would genuinely rather go to the dentist than work.

You want to be careful. I started with a few simple falls.
I've now turned into a geriatric music hall act, with a sideline in water sports.
